Chances are you've already laughed at something Ali Hassan wrote or hosted. Now he's coming to Edmonton to do it live.

He hosts Laugh Out Loud on CBC Radio and SiriusXM, and for the past eight years he has hosted Canada Reads, CBC's Battle of the Books. He has been on the big screen too, in French Immersion, Goon and Tammy's Always Dying. You have caught him on television just as often, from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds to Murdoch Mysteries to Hudson & Rex to Netflix's Workin' Moms, plus roles on Boston Blue, DOC and Odd Squad.

He was recently nominated for Canadian Screen Awards for his work on Run The Burbs and the Peabody Award winning Sort Of.

But on stage is where he really lets loose. A Just For Laughs regular in Montreal and Toronto, he also toured as one of the stars of Just For Laughs' Comedy Night in Canada. A Canadian Screen Award and Canadian Comedy Award nominee, his solo show Muslim Interrupted has toured the country to great acclaim.
